Welcome to the exciting world of Offshore Powerboat Racing

Genus Interiors is one of the UK's leading Interior Design and Contracting companies, providing a complete interior design and construction service to companies who wish to refurbish their commercial premises or relocate to another.

Our involvement in offshore power boat racing is through our Managing Director Mark Brewster.

His hobby and interest in boating in general has lead naturally to him competing in offshore power boat racing. This 2 litre Offshore Powerboat (Batboat) is driven by Chris Bryan, also an employee of Genus, and navigated by Mark Brewster.

The boat  is also used as a hospitality tool for clients of Genus, enabling them to participate in races, watch races at the numerous events around the country, and as an advertising 'bill board' for the company's' services.

The Team participate in 9 events in the UK and several races overseas, competing in the National, European and World championships. These races are normally held on the South Coast of England, Italy, Gibraltar and South Africa.

Additionally, speed trials used to be held on Lake Windermere, where we are currently first in class for achieving a speed  of over 85mph over a fixed distance. The offshore race programme and the offshore championship covers many venues accessible to the public where these fast boats compete in numerous races throughout the season.

Our boat racing team are happy to provide excellent sponsorship opportunities for those companies that see offshore power boat racing as an exciting sport to be involved in.
