Typically race the calendar involves at least 11 South Coast events, a further one in Blackpool and up to 15 or so races overall. There are also normally three events overseas. In addition, the venue for the World Championship which was held in South Africa the previous year, has also yet to be confirmed.

This was a big disappointment for all concerned as Gibraltar is perhaps one of the best spectator venues with boats racing past the stands literally just a few metres away. It is not sure if Gibraltar will feature in any future race events, unless sponsorship arrangements can be made.
