Full Training Courses to Obtain Your PPL(H)

Should you wish to obtain a Helicopter Private Pilots Licence, which will enable you to enjoy flying to the full, Genus Air will ensure that the course is tailored to suit your individual requirements.

Lessons can be booked in advance to suit you, although you will however be required to go through a mandatory minimum of 45 flying hours, which can be achieved in as little as 8 weeks, or if you wish, over one year. 

Some people may take longer, but the time taken to complete the course is down to you. However, the course will be structured to take into account your individual ability

Each lesson contains a full pre flight briefing from your instructor on the content of that particular lesson, followed typically by a one hour flight, and allowed to learn at your own pace, without any undue pressure. Your skills will be built up slowly and at the appropriate rate and after a short period, you will start to take responsibility for pre-flight checks, radio calls to the control tower and navigating the aircraft..

Our primary goal in teaching you to fly, is to make it a rewarding and satisfying experience, safely under the tuition of a professional instructor and if you wish to condense the course, 1/2 day or full day packages can be arranged to meet your individual requirements
