Trial Lessons.

Booking a trial lesson with Genus Air is an ideal introduction into your first experience of piloting a helicopter. This normally includes a pre-flight briefing by a qualified flying instructor and a 30 minute flight training lesson in a dual control Robinson R22 helicopter.

You will be given a short demonstration of the practical application of flying a helicopter in your pre-flight briefing, before taking control of the helicopter, learning through cruise flight, climbing, descending, take offs, landings and hovering. 

You will be given the opportunity to discuss any aspect of the lesson and, at a debriefing session afterwards, learn more about aspects of helicopters in general. The fully inclusive cost is £120 including VAT.

The flight time of the trial lesson be counted towards the hours required for a PPL(H) and if you book and prepay for a further 10 hours flying, the cost of the trial lesson will be fully refunded.
