Helicopter travel, training or executive air taxi services

The Exam.

Firstly, you will need to hold a JAR Class 2 medical certificate, which will have been taken prior to your first solo flight.

Then, after you have completed the required number of hours, and have satisfied your instructor that you are sufficiently competent and able to fly a helicopter correctly, you will then take the necessary exams

These exams comprise short multi-choice papers and you will be given sufficient encouragement and assistance prior to the exam to assist you in passing. This does however, requires some commitment from yourself, as you will need to put in time for studying. We can, of course, provide assistance from any one of our instructors, should you feel this additional help will assist you.

The exams are mandatory, and consist of PPL theory exams in the following subjects: Aircraft Knowledge, Aviation Law, Navigation, Meteorology, Radio Telephony & Human Performance.

Our instructors are fully qualified and have many years experience training students, so you can put your mind at rest, knowing that you will be taught by some of the best instructors in the UK today.
